My glasses fell off while I was on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at the Magic Kindgom. The Disney staff couldn't locate them and I was at a loss. I called my optometrist and he faxed my prescription to Dr. Book. Dr. Book didn't just replace my glasses, but she also checked my eyes to make sure my prescription was still up to date, for no extra charge. She was a real lifesaver! Thank you Dr. Book!

Unfortunately my insurance did not work with this mom & pop glasses shop, but i had such a lovely experience i figured I better give a shout-out! Janette? (I’m absolutely terrible with names) was *very* helpful and informative in finding me a nice looking pair of glasses and discussing insurance and billing.

I love that they're locally owned. I bought my contacts here and they were the cheapest in town. It was easy to get a contact fitting done, then even easier once I ran out of contacts to buy more. I thought I'd have to get another eye exam done to get more, but they had my name on file, and even reserved some for me to pick up! I think they have great customer service.

I have been a customer of Lake Otis Optical for many years now and I would not trust anyone else with my eye care needs! They are professional, prompt, and caring. They never cease to amaze me.

This place was highly recommended by the VA in Anchorage and I am so glad I went to them. The two ladies that were working there will give you the undivided attention and will answer all your questions based on their knowledge and experience when it comes to frames and lenses. Customer service is by far hands down the best among all optical store in town and I’ve been to a couple of them and those stores seem like they try to rush you when it comes to selecting your frame and style that you want. Today I called them up to ask about my warranty for my frame that broke last month and I found out that I had one day left of warranty and they were very helpful and told me that they will take care of me if I can get to their store right away. As soon as I rang the bell, the lady greeted me with a smile and took my prescription glasses and change my frame right then and there, it all happened within a minute or less. They also suggested that they will go ahead and use the warranty for my lenses before it expires. Ladies thank you so much!

The people were friendly and know everything required by the VA for glasses. That's sometimes difficult to get help with.

I have nothing but great experiences here. I have broke my glasses a handful of times and every time I brought them in they were able to fix them on the spot. In and out in 5 min with no extra charge. This is where I will do my business for years to come. They have always taken care of me.
